Bath, shower, and rinse-clean — every one of these is sealed for water, not just splashes.
Buyer's guide
A waterproof vibrator opens up two things at once: where you can play, and how easily you can clean up afterward. Warm water is relaxing, the bath and shower are private, and a fully sealed toy turns both into fair game. Just as importantly, a toy you can hold directly under running water is the toy you'll actually keep clean — no fussing around buttons and seams with a damp cloth.
There's a meaningful difference between 'water-resistant' and 'waterproof,' and it's worth knowing. Water-resistant (often rated around IPX5–IPX6) means a toy shrugs off splashes and rinsing but shouldn't be submerged. Fully waterproof (IPX7 and up) means it can be briefly submerged — the bath, not just the shower. Every toy on this page is built to be used and rinsed in water, not merely wiped down.
Two things do the work: a seamless, body-safe silicone body and a sealed charging system. That's why USB- and magnetic-charging toys tend to be the genuinely waterproof ones — there's no battery hatch to leak around. A toy that takes loose batteries behind a clip-off door is far harder to seal reliably, so for water use, rechargeable is the way to go.
Body-safe silicone matters here for a second reason beyond comfort: it's non-porous, so it doesn't absorb water or harbor bacteria, which is exactly what you want in something you're rinsing and reusing. Avoid porous materials entirely for wet play.
One practical note: water rinses away the body's natural lubrication, so the bath or shower can feel drier than expected. Use a silicone-free, water-based lubricant designed to hold up in water, or simply do most of the direct stimulation as you step out. Air-pulse toys in particular need a good seal, so a little lube helps them work as intended even when everything's wet.
After play, your waterproof toy is the easiest of all to clean: rinse it under warm water with a mild, fragrance-free soap or a dedicated cleaner, shake off the excess, and let it air dry fully before storing. Letting it dry completely is the one step people skip — don't.
Lem, our air-pulse stimulator, is fully waterproof and recharges over USB — the suction seal works beautifully in the bath with a little water-friendly lube. Avo brings the same air-pulse sensation in a flexible, sealed body that's just as at home in the shower. Berri rounds out the lineup as a body-safe, waterproof external vibrator. All three are medical-grade silicone, rinse clean in seconds, and ship in plain, unbranded packaging.
